SUPPORT this year’s The Hills Annual Charity Gala Ball to help sick and seriously ill babies get invaluable treatment.
The event will be held on August 24 at Biviano’s in Dural, and money raised will go towards the Grace Centre for Newborn Care at The Children’s Hospital at Westmead.
Grace Centre looks after more than 600 babies a year, and the money raised will go towards purchasing a medical panda warmer bed, which helps babies develop.
The panda warmer beds cost $24,600 each, and it is an item Grace Centre’s Intensive Care Unit (ICU) needs.
The Hills mayor Yvonne Keane is looking forward to the event.
She is encouraging the community to support the great cause.
“Money generated from the event would make a huge difference to the Grace Centre - ICU at Westmead,” Cr Keane said.
“I am proud to be supporting this event and to support the Grace Centre for Newborn Care in any way I can.“
Tickets cost $115 per person and includes a glass of sparkling wine and canapés on arrival.
There will be a three-course menu and entertainment.
2014 The Voice contestant C Major will be among the live performances.
There will also be a fundraising auction and raffle, featuring a $3500 amethyst, sapphire and diamond pendant from Robert Cliff, Master Jeweller.
