GATHER the family together for a fun day out and celebrate the beginning of the warmer months at Kurrajong Public School’s biennial Spring Fair.
The Spring Fair is one of the biggest and most highly-anticipated events on the Kurrajong community’s calendar, and this year’s event is sure to be a hit.
The Spring Fair will take place at the school on Saturday, September 2, from 9am until 3pm, and there will be something for everybody including market stalls, entertainment and food.
Stalls will include a Monster Garage Sale in the hall, selling second-hand books, DVDs, toys and kitchenware. There will also be stalls selling plants, craft, food, fruit and vegetables, and homemade cakes and slices.
For the littlies there will be rides, face painting, pony rides showbags and novelties.
There will also be games of chance, a watermelon-eating competition, a voucher board, a silent and live auction, a chocolate wheel and a photo booth stall.
Buskers will be providing entertainment on the main stage, and there will also be dancing and taekwondo demonstrations.
Kurrajong Public School students will be showcasing their artistic skills with a student art gallery in the hall, and there will also be performances from the school’s choir, band and dance group on the day.
