THE Hawkesbury boasts a number of newly crowned world water skiing champions.
The World Water Skiing Championships was hosted in Seattle from July 26 to August 6, with a number of competitors from the Hawkesbury entering.
Cameron Osbourne and Ellen Jones won the men’s and women’s F2 events respectively, while Jack Harrison finished in third place in the men’s.

Jack’s younger brother Luke won the junior men’s category, with Brock McMillan finishing in second place.
Brock’s sister Nellie finished second in the junior girl’s category, while Ellen Jones’ sister Grace was third.
Michael Boylan finished fifth in the junior boys category.
