Rugby: Hawkesbury Ag College defeats Hunters Hill while Hawkesbury Valley is smashed by Epping

HAWKESBURY Ag College triumphed when it took on Hunters Hill at the weekend, while Hawkesbury Valley was flogged by Brothers in NSW Suburban Rugby Union action.

In second division rugby, Ag College’s first grade team beat Hunters Hill 45-14 at College Oval in round 13.

in second grade, Ag College was narrowly beaten 32-26. Third grade also lost 17-8, while fourth grade just squeaked by, winning 29-25. Colts lost 28-0.

In third division rugby, Brothers easily got the better of Hawkesbury Valley, winning 60-5.

In second grade it was much closer, with Brothers winning 29-24, while in third grade Valley won 29-22.

Valley is no chance of playing finals rugby in first grade. The Colts and third grade are outside chances of qualifying.

Ag College moved into second place in first grade with their win.

In the final regular season game, Ag College will travel to play Hills, while Valley will host Epping.
