THE course that’s a shortcut for L-platers to get their logbook hours finished sooner is now being offered in the Hawkesbury.
John Fitzpatrick is offering the RMS-approved Safer Drivers course from Richmond School of Arts, where you can get 20 hours signed off in your book for an investment of only five hours – and some money.
The ADTA Safer Drivers Course was previously only available at Penrith. The first Richmond module will begin on Sunday, September 3 at 9.30am-12.30pm. The overall cost is $140, set by the RMS.
Safer Drivers courses are offered by different practitioners, and were developed by a board of road safety experts including NSW Police, RMS and the Centre for Road Safety.
The Safer Drivers course deals with different road conditions, understanding factors beyond a driver’s control and identifying risks on the road. You must be under 25 and have completed 50 hours in your logbook. Go to https://rmssaferdriverscourse.com.au for more.
