LEAGUE leading Macquarie was upset by Poppets Blue in Hawkesbury City Netball Association A1 Grade action at the weekend.
After a two week break, HCNA netball returned to the courts at Mileham Street over the weekend.
Poppets scored 51 to Macquarie’s 36 in the round 12 match.
Londonderry had a three-goal win over Colo.
Macquarie and Londonderry have seven wins each this year, while Poppets Blue has six.
Meanwhile, in Metro League Netball, Hawkesbury City will go from last to first in two weeks this week.
Hawkesbury played Inner Western Suburbs last night, after The Gazette's deadline in the round 13 match.
Inner Western Suburbs was the first-placed team on the ladder at the time of the game. Hawkesbury was fourth.
In round four, Hawkesbury defeated Inner Western Suburbs to deliver the only loss of the season to the team.
In round 12, Hawkesbury defeated bottom-placed City of Sydney with a comprehensive 61-28 scoreline.
