The man who police believe tried to carry out back-to-back armed robberies in Plumpton in April has seen his luck run out.
It’s alleged the man, 30, entered two fast food outlets on Jersey Road on the night of April 29 wielding a knife and demanding cash.
Staff at the first store refused but he ran the gauntlet at second store about 1.20am.
This time an employee handed over a bag of money.
Mount Druitt police inspected the crime scenes and started an investigation.
A warrant was issued for the man’s arrest, and on Monday police tracked him down in Tuggerah Lakes on the Central Coast.
He was charged with armed robbery with an offensive weapon, demanding property with menaces with intent to steal, armed with intent to commit indictable offence.
He was refused bail to appear at Gosford Local Court on Tuesday.
