SummitCare Baulkham Hills is holding a preview evening of its new suites

SummitCare Baulkham Hills is inviting the community to a preview and information evening at Castle Hill RSL for its new aged care centre, 5.30pm on Tuesday, June 27.

A residential aged care organisation, SummitCare commissioned CHADA, a leading architecture firm to create the new interiors, resulting in a 186 room residential building that is light, spacious, stylish and comfortable.

You can also reserve suites on the night.

SummitCare CEO Cynthia Payne and other members of her team will be on hand to talk about the most exciting seniors’ residential development in the company’s 50 year history.

“We have really put all our years of learning and experience from looking after older Australians and listening to them and their families to design this state-of-the-art centre,” Ms Payne said.

SummitCare Baulkham Hills will bring to life everything anyone could wish for in a home - from light filled rooms to stunning landscaped and rooftop gardens, luxurious suites and spacious areas to relax with family and friends, a wellness centre, hair dressers and nail spa, a men’s workshop and much more.

“The interiors were designed to feel beautiful, comfortable and welcoming all in one, with lovely touches like handmade rugs, an incredible amount of living space and a wonderful rooftop,” Ms Payne said.

“There is a choice of single, twin and larger suites, many with balconies and terraces, as well as options to include living areas or kitchens, ideal for couples whose choice is stay together.

“We also understand that family members (close friends) don’t always live close by and for that reason we have specifically designed rooms for overnight stays.”

She stresses while consumer expectations around the build environment and residential aged care in general have increase quality care and support is not just about the physical surroundings.

“Our belief has always been delivering care that focuses on ‘worth, warmth, wellbeing’ and it’s deeply ingrained in the culture of all our people,” she said.

“It’s what sets us apart and why our residents and their families (and the team) love their lives at SummitCare.

“The information evening will be a great opportunity to hear first-hand about SummitCare Baulkham Hills, learn about how we do things and ask questions of me and members of the team who, like me, are very excited about the centre.”
