THE Nor-West Jets first grade team went down at the hands of the Camden Cats on Saturday afternoon in AFL Sydney’s division three competition.
The cats got the better of the Jets to the tune of 48 points, with the final score reading 16.4-100 to Nor-West’s 7.10-52.
Nor-West Jets player Jye Charlton-Brennan booted three goals to lead the Jets for the second time in two weeks, after booting six against Penrith last week.
The Cats dominated the Jets in the first and third quarters of the match at Fairfax Reserve.
The Jets managed just four behinds in the first quarter, and did not score a point in the third.
The Jets did rally in the second quarter, kicking five goals and seven behinds to put 37 points on the board and actually overtake the Cats.
However, the scoreless third quarter saw the Cats run away with the game as they kicked eight goals.
The Jets are now third on the ladder.
The Jets will host the Blues at Bensons Lane on Saturday.
