School zones back Monday
SCHOOL zones come back into effect on Monday, April 24, so don’t forget to observe the 40km/h speed limits surrounding local schools.
Monday is a school development day (also known as a student-free day), however school zones will be in operation as some students may attend school on this day, according to the Transport NSW website.
Tuesday, April 25 (Anzac Day) is a public holiday and is not considered a school day, therefore school zones will not be in operation on this day.
School zone flashing lights warn motorists when they enter a 40km/h school zone. This lower speed limit reduces the risk and potential severity of a crash.
