REIBY Rampart and Senorita de Vega came home winners for Hawkesbury horse trainer Jason Attard at Newcastle on Wednesday afternoon.
The local trainer enjoyed a successful trip up the M1 on March 29.
Attard started Senorita de Vega, a four-year-old mare, for just the second time at Newcastle, after the mare finished third in her first start.
This time, however, Koby Jennigns was able to squeeze her home ahead of Ken Tynan’s Zar Gold in a 1400-metre maiden handicap.
Atatrd’s second winner is a little more seasoned.
Wednesday marked Reiby Rampart’s third score from 13 tries, and second in six weeks.
Glyn Schofield steered the four-year-old to victory, well ahead of the rest of the pack in the 1300-metre benchmark 67.
