Hawkesbury motocross star Mackenzie Tricker has kicked off an impressive season in the US in both the Grand National Cross Country series and the Sprint Enduro series.
Tricker, who is new to the cross country and enduro circuits, is not only making the podium but said she is learning a lot from the experience.
“I have had two rounds so far and I have 17 races left … I'm learning a lot since it's all very new to me,” Tricker said.
“The GNCC races I have finished third and second overall, and the Sprint Enduro I have finished second and first overall.
“The Sprint Enduro is something that has been a little easier for me to adapt to coming from motocross. But the GNCC has been a little tougher racing, as it’s a longer race and there can be a lot of people with you on the track at the same time.”
Tricker competed in the US, 10 round WMX series last year and made the podium several times despite suffering a devastating fall saw her fracture her back early in the season.
