PITT TOWN Cricket Club and Bligh Park Cricket Club won two premierships each in Hawkesbury District Cricket Association over the weekend, while Freemans Reach and Schofields won one each.
Schofields defeated Bligh Park in second grade in a 21 run victory to upset the minor premiers.
Schofields batter Luke Holden top scored in the match, making 81 runs.
Bligh Park’s Benjamin Mitchell posted 50 runs during the chase.
Pitt Town secured premierships in third and fifth grade.
Unfortunately, the third grade grand final never went ahead because of the playing surface, so Pitt Town as minor premiers, were handed the game, with Bligh Park denied a chance to take victory.
In fifth grade, there was a result, with Richmond defeated by Pitt Town, who made 137 in their first innings, before bowling out Richmond for 67.
Bligh Park won in first grade, and also in fourth grade.
The fourth grade premiers defeated Freemans Reach after bowling them out for 57 and then posting 5-69.
In sixth grade, it was Freemans Reach doing the opposite to fourth grade and defeating Bligh Park.
Bligh Park were again minor premiers in sixth grade, but Freemans Reach posted a monster total of 293, and Bligh Park could only manage 148 in reply.
Freemans Reach opener Michael Johnstone fell three runs short of a century in the match, while Ed Flaherty made 85 not out.
With the ball in hand, Flaherty also took four wickets during the match.
