Blacktown City Local Business Awards finalists have been announced

Thousands of votes for hundreds of businesses are being counted to determine this year’s Blacktown City Local Business Awards finalists.

Precedent Productions staff have started to review the nominations to find the most popular nominees in each business category and notify those chosen as finalists.

Anonymous judges will then visit each finalist to assess their services from a customer’s point of view. Judging criteria include: range of products, value for money, business and staff appearance, service quality and customer relations.

Finalists can also submit information about their business that an anonymous visitor may not see, such as customer testimonials and references.

The winners will be announced on Tuesday, May 16 at Blacktown Workers Club.

None of this would be possible without the support of this year’s sponsors: Major Sponsors, Blacktown Workers Club, NOVA Employment and Homemaker Prospect and Support Sponsors, Blacktown Council, Westpoint Blacktown, Stanhope Village, Seven Hills Plaza, Woodcroft Village, BREED Business Centre, Rotary Club of Blacktown City and Blacktown City Football Club.

“It is only with their unwavering assistance that the program is able to recognise and award the high achievers of local business,” Precedent Productions managing director and awards founder Steve Loe said.
