Police appeal after children injured in school bus incident

Police are appealing for witnesses after a number of school children were injured on a school bus in Kellyville last week.

Police said a school bus containing primary school students was travelling on Arnold Avenue at about 3.25pm on Friday, February 10.

The driver braked suddenly and as a result several children were thrown to the floor, sustaining injuries.

Police are working with the school involved to ascertain the details of the children who were injured, and are reviewing CCTV of the incident. 

Officers are also expecting to speak to the driver of the bus in relation to the incident.

Investigators are appealing for anyone who witnessed the incident to contact Castle Hill police or Crime Stoppers on 1800 333 000.

They are also urging the parents of any children who may have been involved in the incident, and who have not yet provided their details to police, to come forward.
