STUCK for something to do with the kids these Summer holidays? Hawkesbury Library Service has a range of activities to help the little ones escape the heat.
Get creative: Create pompom bunnies at the Crafternoon @ Richmond Library workshop on Thursday, January 5. This event is free, and booking are essential. It is designed for children aged five and over.
Movie lovers: The Library will be screening Blinky Bill on Monday, January 9, Ferngully on Monday, January 16, and Happy Feet 2 on Monday, January 23. All movies will start at 2pm. They are free to attend, and bookings are essential.
Treasure hunts: Come along to Geocaching 101 on Tuesday, January 10, 10am-12pm and learn all about this real-world, outdoor treasure hunting game. This session is free, but attendees must BYO device. Bookings are essential, and the event is desigend for students aged eight and over.
Painting: Create your own t-shirt design then paint it onto the shirt at the T-shirt Painting Workshop on Thursday, January 12, 2-4pm. The cost is $10, and bookings are essential. This workshop is designed for children aged five and over.
Aspiring artists: Create an individual comic strip at the KAPOW workshop on Wednesday, January 18, 2-4pm. The design will be combined to create a mural in the Library. This event is free to attend, and bookings are essential. It is designed for children aged 11 and over.
Pop Up: The Library and Gallery will also hold a Pop Up Library and Gallery at Richmond Swimming Centre, 71 East Market Street, Richmond on Tuesday, January 24, 10am-noon, so come along for some giveaways and fun activities.

Hawkesbury Central Library is located at 300 George Street, Windsor, and the Richmond Branch Library is at 29 West Market Street, Richmond. Children under the age of 10 must be accompanied by an adult.
