Tresillian nurses are legendary amongst new mothers.
When this reporter was having babies 20 years ago, those with babies who wouldn’t stop crying, and those having problems establishing breastfeeding would try lots of things – but when it came down to the wire where it just wasn’t happening, it was time to bring out the big guns – a residential stint at Tresillian.
I never heard of anyone not coming out fixed.
Now one of these commandos of mothercraft is coming out to the Hawkesbury every Friday to consult with new mothers and help sort out their problems at North Richmond Chemmart.
The Tresillian nurse will be in store from 9am to 2pm to answer any questions about your baby or your concerns.
Tresillian’s Ann Paton said to celebrate the launch, the first three mums visiting the pharmacy in the Fridays leading up to Christmas, will receive a free copy of the Tresillian book ‘Hello Baby: Parenting with Confidence’ valued at $29.95 on their first visit, along with a gift bag from Johnson & Johnson.
“This initiative is a first for Tresillian in NSW,” Ms Paton said. “It’s hoped that if this initiative with Chemmart is successful, it will be rolled out in other Chemmart pharmacies around the state. “
Lucinda Seckold and one year old Carter from Grose Wold came to see nurse Janelle Daly on Friday, December 2 and get some expert advice.
Janelle also works at Tresillian’s Nepean Centre.
North Richmond Chemmart Pharmacy is Shop 8 at North Richmond Shopping Village, Bells Line of Road, North Richmond.
