JOEL Brunker’s upcoming fight has been called off, after his opponent pulled out.
The Hawkesbury boxer was meant to fight this weekend against Thailand’s Terdchai Duwangmontree in Melbourne.
Brunker said he was disappointed his oppoent pulled out on Wednesday, but said another fight was all but confirmed for December 9 at the Hordern Pavilion.
Brunker said the fight could again be against Duwangmontree, although his management team was also looking for other opponents.
On the same night, NRL players Paul Gallen and Junior Paulo will be involved in a charity fight, while former NRL player Chris Sandow is also meant to fight.
