Combat screenitis by actively helping your kids discover the worlds within bookcovers.
Hawkesbury Library invites children and families to discover heroes, villains, sidekicks and more by participating in the Summer Reading Club from Thursday, December 1 until Tuesday, January 31.
To join in the fun, children can register at Hawkesbury Central Library, or Windsor or Richmond Branch Libraries and collect a starter pack. Kids will be rewarded for every five books read. The more books read, the more chances to win prizes.
Participants are also invited to the Library’s Summer Reading Club After Party to be held in February with major prizes drawn and afternoon tea provided. The free party will be held in the Stan Stevens Studio which is next to Hawkesbury Central Library at the Deerubbin Centre, 300 George Street, Windsor. The party is free with bookings essential through http://hawkesburylibrary.eventbrite.com or call the library on 4560 4460 for the time and date when you RSVP.
This program is for children aged 16 years and under. For more information about this program, please contact Hawkesbury Library on 4560 4460 or email programs@hawkesbury.nsw.gov.au with your enquiry.
