THE state government will provide just over $100,000 to the Hawkesbury Regional Gallery and Museum to deliver cultural programs.
Member for Hawkesbury Dominic Perrottet said the $105,000 would be to fund programs until the end of 2017.
“The funding being provided will help these organisations to deliver innovative arts and cultural programs to the Hawkesbury community,” he said.
The Mayor of Hawkesbury, Mary Lyons-Buckett, said the funding was a significant contribution to the gallery.
“All of these programs will aim to engage with a wide range of audiences, helping the museum and gallery to make important contributions to the cultural and social landscape of the Hawkesbury region.”
