HAWKESBURY trainers Garry White and Jason Attard scored at their home track on Thursday, October 20.
White combined with Hawkesbury jockey Tye Angland in the first race of the day to win.
White’s three-year-old gelding Generalissimo started as $1.90 favourite in the 1100-metre class 2 handicap, and came home nearly a length ahead of the closest competition.
Later in the day, $14 outsider Pretty Smart, trained by Attard, edged out Cheeky Bella, trained by fellow Hawkesbury trainer Mike van Gestel.
Jockey Thomas Huet spurred Pretty Smart to victory in the 1300-metre maiden plate.
In the same race, White and Angland teamed up again, with Angland riding Lattimer to fourth place.
In the next race, the pair were at it again, with Angland atop Every Chance and coming home in second place in a 1500-metre maiden plate.
Gai Waterhouse and Adrian Bott had back to back winners on the day, while Chris Waller had one in the final race.
