Hawkesbury Police have charged a man after a search warrant was executed at a house in March Street in Richmond on Wednesday morning, August 31.
Hawkesbury Police went to the address about 7.20am. During the search they found and seized items believed to be prohibited drugs, as well as electronics and a glass beaker with liquid. Officers from Fire & Rescue NSW HAZMAT were called to examine the liquid and it was seized for forensic examination.
A 23-year-old man was arrested at the home on an unrelated outstanding warrant for failing to appear on a break and enter charge. He was taken to Windsor Police Station and charged regarding the outstanding warrant. He was refused bail and was scheduled to appear at Penrith Local Court the same day.
Police said their inquiries were ongoing and they expected to lay further charges.
