Is your family at risk if there was a bushfire? Would you know what to do? Is your property prepared? Have you completed your Bush Fire Survival Plan? What is your Plan B if you are confronted by a bushfire?
If you’re in the Grose Vale or Bowen Mountain areas, come to Grose Vale Rural Fire Brigade’s Open Day at the Bowen Mountain fire shed on Saturday, September 10 from 10am - 2pm.
Brigade members will be on hand to answer your questions, help you prepare your Bushfire Survival Plan and demonstrate firefighting equipment to help you get ready for the coming bushfire season.
A raffle for two emergency bushfire survival kits will be drawn at 2.30pm, while a sausage sizzle, tea, coffee and cold drinks will be available, so bring the family.
