The search for missing horse trainer Bindi Cheers will resume today in the central Hunter region.
Mrs Cheers, 44, was last seen at 2pm on Sunday, leaving Hawkesbury Race Club on Racecourse Road, Clarendon, with her horses.
Some time later, her horses were found at a service station some 175 kilometres away on Enterprise Drive, Beresfield.
She is believed to have left the site on foot.
Police were called after the trainer failed to arrive at her home in Taree on Sunday afternoon.
The Herald reported that friends said Cheers, who manages a small team of horses, left the racecourse in her truck on her own.
Emergency crews, including the SES, searched for Mrs Cheers in bushland around the Beresfield area late on Sunday and throughout Monday.
One person who claimed to know Mrs Cheers wrote on social media: "Bindi would never leave her horses like that".
She is described as being about 175 centimetres tall, with a slim build and fair complexion.
She was last seen wearing grey cargo pants, running shoes and may have been wearing a maroon jacket.
Anyone who sees Cheers or may have spoken to her before she left the racecourse should call Crime stoppers on 1800 333 000.
