Teen in court over pursuit
A 17-year-old girl was refused bail over night to appear at the Parramatta Children's Court this morning, charged with a total of 10 offences arising from a police pursuit yesterday at Richmond.
The pursuit followed a series of events and offences that are still under investigation.
Further inquires are still being undertaken regarding possible further offences.
The female has been charged with the following offences:
- Police pursuit - not stop - drive dangerously - 1st Offence (For manner dangerous)
- Police pursuit - not stop - drive dangerously - 1st Offence (Recklessly/Speed)
- Overtake vehicle when unsafe.
- Proceed through red traffic light.
- Not give particulars to other driver.
- Exceed speed over 10km/h - estimated.
- Not keep left of centre - two way road - not class B/C.
- Driver never licensed - 1st Offence.
- Knowingly drive stolen conveyance.
- Larceny
