THE Lowlands Wanderers surrendered a one goal lead to lose to Blue Mountains 2-1 in the Nepean Football Association’s Premier League division at the weekend.
The Wanderers were actually held without scoring, because their goal came through a Blue Mountains own goal.
Wanderers co-coach Vic Papadimitriou said he did not understand how the team lost, because he felt it played very well on Sunday, May 1.
“We've been playing well it is just a lack of concentration with a lot of youth in our side,” he said.
“In crucial moments a lack of concentration is costing us, but again there are positive signs there.”
Papadimitriou said the return of strikers Edwin George and Robbie Carle was a big boost to the team.
“We just have to work on combinations for the rest of the team and I think we'll start to score a few goals with the boys we have now in attack,” he said.
The Wanderers travel to play Blaxland this week.
