Aboriginal with a disability? This is for you
If you’re an Aboriginal Hawkesbury resident with a disability then there’s an ‘Info Share’ being held for you later this month.
The Info Share for Aboriginal People with Disability & their Families is on May 17-18 at Windsor.
The 'Living My Way, Getting Prepared' workshops are about how to prepare for the new disability services reforms.
There will also be a NSW Ombudsman presentation about knowing your rights in the changing disability area. Topics include:
- Why the change?
- Who is in my community?
- What is a disability?
- How to plan?
It’s at 2 Dight Street, Windsor (near Windsor Public School). It’s free and lunch and refreshments are provided.
RSVP: by May 12 to Dianne, at email enquiries@adnnsw.org.au or ring 8399 0881.
