THE Chamber of Commerce will be holding its next Women In Business Luncheon on Thursday, 5 May - this time in a brand new format.
Executive committee member, Louis Reed, said: “It’s an exciting new way of doing business that the chamber hasn’t done before.”
For the first time, the Luncheon will include a mini-expo of 30 local business women showcasing their businesses, providing special offers on the day of the event only.
It will also offer attendees networking opportunities with other local businesses, a canape-style lunch to allow women to mingle and shop at the expo, champagne on arrival, and the chance to win one or more of 20 door prizes.
Katrena Friel from Refresh Your Thinking will provide an address on the power of women collaborating in business.
“It’s the biggest thing that’s happened for women in business in the Hawkesbury,” said Ms Reed.
“We’d love to promote it to any woman in the Hawkesbury who has a business or is starting up a business.”
The Luncheon will take place at the Hawkesbury Race Club from 12 noon until 2:30pm. Tickets are $40 for Chamber members, or $50 for non-members.
