A woman has been charged and investigations continue following a pursuit and crash in Richmond yesterday, Tuesday February 9.
About 2.40pm (Tuesday 9 February 2016), officers from the Hawkesbury Traffic and Highway Patrol attempted to stop a black Holden Commodore on Bells Line of Road after it was seen driving with no plates.
The driver of the Commodore allegedly failed to stop and a pursuit was commenced.
A short time later, the Commodore collided with a Mazda CX5 on Bells Line of Road and failed to stop. The driver of the Mazda was treated at the scene by Ambulance Paramedics for minor injuries.
The pursuit was terminated due to safety concerns.
A short time later, the Commodore was found abandoned on Bells Line of Road at North Richmond. Officers conducted a search of the surrounding area and arrested a 27-year-old woman.
She was taken to Windsor Police Station and charged with two counts of possess prohibited drug and granted conditional bail to appear before Windsor Local Court on Thursday 25 February 2016.
As investigations continue, police would like to speak with a man who may be able to assist with inquiries.
He is described as being Caucasian in appearance, with a slim build and was last seen wearing a black-coloured singlet and shorts.
