Hawkesbury Council voted to display a draft contribution plan, which would allow the Council to collect money from developers for storm water drainage, among other things, for a Pitt Town development.
At the November 24 Council meeting, item 195 was passed nine votes to three, with Crs Paul Rasmussen, Mary Lyons-Buckett and Bob Porter voting against it.
The plan will be on display for 28 days.
If approved Council will collect money from the developer, who wishes to develop five blocks of land in Pitt Town.
The money will then be used to create storm water drainage systems, land acquisition and easements.
