DON’T miss two special events this Sunday and Monday, November 29-30 at Hawkesbury Race Club.
On Sunday it’s the International Food Fair, free CPR training, a CPR endurance contest and a race meeting, from 10am-5pm.
Run by Windsor Rotary’s Hawkesbury Heartstart campaign, it will feature Parramatta player Michael Vella and coach Daniel Anderson.
Watch the contest while chowing down on German food, Spanish, Anatolian, Turkish, New York, North Indian and South American, as well as ice cream and coffee.
Then on Monday Penrith players Jamie Soward and Peter Wallace will take part in the CPR endurance contest and Take Heart Australia’s Guinness World Book of Records attempt for "the most people trained in CPR in the one day".
While hundreds of Hawkesbury schoolchildren will take part, more people are needed to try to break the record, so come along.
It’s on from 9.30am-5pm. It’s on Racecourse Road, Clarendon. Enquiries to Barry Kennedy on 0414 752 669.
