MANAGING Challenging Behaviours in Kids is a free group with free childcare for parents and primary carers of children up to the age of 12.
When children exhibit challenging behaviour it can be confusing and distressing for everyone, including the child.
This group, organised by Richmond Community Services Inc, looks at what may be behind the behaviours, what factors may be contributing, and offers ways to manage the situation.
It is an ongoing three-week group and participants must be able to attend all three dates.
It’s on Saturdays 10am—12.30pm, October 10, 17 and 24.
Another handy course for parents and carers offered by Richmond Community Services Inc is Tackling Sibling Rivalry.
The next workshop will be held on Wednesday October 14 from 6.30pm-9pm. Free childcare available.
On Wednesday, November 4, the topic for discussion will be Helping the Anxious Child.
Again this is aimed at parents and carers of children between the ages of 0-12.
It will run from 6.30-9pm and free childcare is available. Booking for each workshop is essential.
