YOUNG Hawkesbury folk are urged to put on their onesies and head down to the Blue Light disco to be held at the Richmond Club on Friday, July 31.
To get over the winter chills, Hawkesbury police invite all under-18s to come and enjoy a fun and safe night out.
Two local DJs will be hitting the decks to get everyone dancing.
There will be lucky door prizes and best-dressed competitions.
As always, Blue Light discos are alcohol and drug-free events.
Hawkesbury Senior constable and youth liaison officer Natalie Haynes said not much happens in the Hawkesbury for youth so this was a great way for them to get off the street and into a safe environment.
‘‘We love these discos because it’s an excellent way to break the barriers and get to know them a little more,’’ Sr Const. Haynes said. ‘‘It’s a good way for them to chill, meet friends and hang out together under good supervision.’’
The 100th kid gets in for free.
Junior Disco: 5 to 11 years is $5, from 5pm-6.30pm.
Senior Disco: 12 to 17 years is $11, from 7-10pm.
