Fatality at Wilberforce

A 21-YEAR-old women from East Kurrajong has lost her battle for survival, two days after the car she was driving crashed into a bus shelter in Wilberforce.

Last Friday, September 7, the woman was driving her Holden Vectra along Wilberforce Road, towards Windsor when police say she lost control, mounting a curb and collided with a bus shelter and then a tree before coming to rest on its side.

According to Hawkesbury Police, emergency crews worked to release the women from her vehicle and she was later airlifted to Westmead Hospital in a critical condition and placed on life support. She passed away on Sunday, September 9.
