Nick Kyrgios took fans on a rollercoaster of emotions during the second set of his clash with Canada's Milos Raonic, slamming his racquet into the ground in frustration before recovering to take the set.

Trailing by a set but up 4-3 in the third, the Aussie youngster lost a key point on his service game, prompting him to send his racquet beneath him, which then bounced up over the wall and into the seats.
Miraculously, the instrument withstood the impact, and was returned to Kyrgios by a fan, who continued to use it. He was not penalised a point during the outburst.

Many detractors have questioned the ACT native's passionate nature on court, but it's hard to argue that this outburst had a positive effect, as he rallied to win the set 7-5 before taking the match in four sets. He'll play Frenchman Richard Gasquet in the fourth round.
