FORMER Penrith Panthers and Wests Tigers player Geoff Daniela has been named for the Windsor Wolves for the team's clash against Kingsgrove on Saturday.
The Wolves will play at WIN Jubilee Oval, with kick-off at 1.30pm, which is sure to rev the players up after the loss to Blacktown Workers at the weekend.
Coach Brad Prior said Daniela, who has been playing for the Panthers in the NSW Cup, was a massive inclusion for the team.
"It will be great to have him playing in the Windsor colours, the experience he brings and he skill set has to be a good thing for us," he said.
Kingsgrove are not travelling as well as the team would like, but Prior said his team would not be complacent on the weekend.
"We'll have to be on our best to get the upper hand on them. We had a 20-20 draw with them and they can play some good football," he said.
"I'd like to think we'll win, but like I said, they got the jump on us last year, so we just have to aim up."
Daniela's inclusion in the team means Tom Eisenhuth, who scored a try playing at centre last week, moves into the second row.
Prior said second row was more suited to Eisenhuth's skill set.
"Tom is a real professional in everything he does and he has been in the Penrith system for many years now," he said.
"Tom is more a second rower than a centre and obviously this week has presented us with the opportunity to put him there."
Daniel Foster, who played hooker and in the halves last week, has been ruled out, with Aaron Farkas to partner Sam Scarlett in the halves.
Starting line-up: 1. Raymond Lesoa 2. Malakai Watene-Zelezniak 3. Geoff Daniela 4. Paul Simona 5. Chris Aunese-Scanlan 6. Sam Scarlett 7. Aaron Farkas 8. Guy Hodgins 9. Reece Goldsmith 10. Chris Boyd's team has been shaken up and there are a number of changes from the team that beat the Workers last week.
Injury and illness have taken toll and Boyd is yet to name one player because he does not know who will be fit for the weekend.
Lachlan Jackson and David Farkas will replace Logan Geyer and Jarome Luai in the halves.
Hard-working lock Dylan Fuad is also out, with Kain Howarth to replace him in the starting team.
Boyd said he was hoping to get his full compliment of players back at some stage during the year, but was confident his team could get the job done against the East Campbelltown Eagles on Sunday.
"They'll be tough at home, they're a good side and last year's premiers and are not to be taken lightly," he said.
"We'll be hoping to keep it simple and look to play a bit of field position on them."
Boyd said Andrew Cartisano, who normally plays in the centre, was moved to fullback and was excited to see how he went.
"I've been thinking about putting him back there for a while and I think he is made for it, he has speed to burn and can find the try line," he said.
