If you're looking to make your home a little more environmentally friendly, a visit to Bunnings at Marsden Park or McGraths Hill on June 6 and 7 would be worth your while.
Organised to celebrate World Environment Day on Friday, June 5, the DIY workshops will help residents create an energy-smart home, both inside and out.
The workshops offer easy to follow tips to help save energy.
Team members from the Marsden Park and McGraths Hill warehouses will also run craft workshops using recycled materials over the weekend, specially for kids.
Bunnings Warehouse area manager, Jon Fenton said team members were pleased to provide local residents with advice on ways they can reduce their household energy bills.
‘‘Making small changes around the home is easy and can make a significant difference to your energy bills,’’ he said.
Bunnings Marsden Park is on the corner of Richmond and Hollins-worth roads, and the McGraths Hill store is on Windsor Road.
