A 15-year-old girl suffered a number of serious fractures to her left arm and left leg after she fell off a motocross bike in South Maroota on Sunday.
Police, emergency services and CareFlight were called to Pacific Park just after 1pm.
CareFlight’s doctor and paramedics initiated pre-hospital procedures before she was airlifted to The Children's Hospital at Westmead in a serious but stable condition.
She was wearing full protective clothing and a helmet at the time of her fall and remained conscious throughout.
