Australian fashion model Jesinta Campbell says she has seen women do some "shocking" things to lure a footballer.
Campbell, who is engaged to AFL star Lance "Buddy" Franklin, told The Australian Women's Weekly that women will do anything to have the "glory of being with a footballer".
"I've seen girls lift skirts up and put men's hands underneath their skirts, Campbell, 23, says.
As part of the mag's Let's Talk series, editor Helen McCabe interviewed Sex Discrimination Commissioner Elizabeth Broderick alongside Campbell about domestic violence.
While Campbell says Franklin, 28, is a gentleman, McCabe asked if the former Miss Universe Australia is "alarmed" by what she sees around football clubs.
"For me the most shocking thing is how these women act around these sports stars," Campbell says.
"Something that's very, very disappointing for me.
"I have seen things in clubs that would make mothers' skin crawl, this was before I even met Lance.
"Like, how do we change that?" Campbell asked.
A solution according to Broderick is for sports stars, like Campbell's fiance, Franklin, to speak out against domestic violence and the behaviours that Campbell has seen, "People would listen."
She also offers an explanation for why women might behave in such a way.
"Particularly in Western nations like Australia, we sexualise women," she says.
"We see them as sexual objects, sexual toys and maybe when we're seen like that, women begin to behave like that."
The interview comes after Campbell was criticised for her controversial comments about Indonesia's drug smuggling laws.
Campbell and Franklin met in 2012 at the Brownlow Medal awards. Franklin proposed to his fiancee in December last year.
The marriage proposal "was perfect ... it was magic and it was absolutely perfect", Campbell told the Daily Mail.
