Olivia Wilde has kept it incredibly real in a recent interview, alerting readers to the fact that her pictures had been taken at her best angles and describing her post-baby body as a "deflated pool toy".
The 31-year-old actress, who gave birth to son Otis 11 months ago, told the readers of American health and fitness magazine Shape to not take the pictures that appeared in her cover story spread too seriously.
"The photos of me in this magazine have been generously constructed to show my best angles and, I assure you, good lighting has been warmly embraced," she said.
"The truth is, I'm a mother, and I look like one."
The House actress went on to explain how her body looked like a "deflated pool toy" after giving birth.
"After giving birth, I joined the ranks of millions of new mothers when I moaned, 'Why do I still look pregnant? Is there another one stuck in there?'" she said.
Wilde also went into detail about how other parts of her body changed post-baby.
"For a couple of weeks after you pop that sucker out, you are the walking wounded," she said.
"First of all, you haven't seen your vagina in months, even though it's all her fault you're in this situation. Now that you can confirm that she is, in fact still there, she isn't the gal you remember, and would rather you back off and give her some space – and an ice diaper – for the time being, thank you very much."
Wilde welcomed baby Otis with her fiancee, Saturday Night Live actor Jason Sudeikis, last April. He is the couple's first child.
At the time, Wilde jokingly announced her son's birth on Twitter, saying, "Ladies and gentlemen, Otis Alexander Sudeikis has LEFT the building! (I'm the building)."
