Richmond resident charged after firearms, crossbow, arrows seized
A 61-year-old man will face court today for a series of weapon offences in McGraths Hill at 8.30pm last night.
Hawkesbury police intercepted a Ford Territory on Windsor Road, that allegedly had a red and blue strobe light mounted on the dashboard.
A search of the car located a number of items including strobe lights, a tomahawk, restraints, crossbow and arrows with barbed tips.
The Richmond resident was arrested and taken to Windsor Police Station where he was charged with custody of a knife in a public place (x2), possess unregistered firearm (x2), not keep firearm safe, possess or use prohibited weapon without a permit (x4).
He appears at Penrith Local Court today.
