Library presents free Christmas classic
In a celebration of the Christmas spirit, Hawkesbury Library Service will screen Miracle on 34th Street at 10.30am and 6pm on Thursday, December 4.
A Christmas classic, the black and white film will be shown for free, courtesy of the National Film and Sound Archive. It is rated G.
The film follows Kris Kringle who is offered a job at Macy’s department store as Santa for his unbelievable resemblance to Santa Claus.
He believes he really is Santa and goes on trial to prove it.
Refreshments are provided before the movie or you can bring your own snacks.
