Christmas photos may be the domain of children.
But furry, slithery and winged kids count as children, too, says Kellyville Pets co-owner Siggy Grima.
"We were definitely one of the first to introduce pet photos with Santa . . . people treat their pets like children and people want to take their pets to see Santa too," Ms Grima said.
She said pet owners had been ringing since October to make sure the store was putting on Santa Pet Photos again this year.

The extremely popular event attracted 150 pets and owners a day in 2013, she said.
"We had a pig one year and a horse another — we did that [photo] outside," Ms Grima said.
"We've also had people bring their snakes and birds down [and] there are people who bring all their pets."
She said one thing they'd learnt was to make sure the animals weren't facing people when they were photographed, to have plenty of animal treats handy and a Santa with a whole lot of patience.
Santa Pet Photo packages start from $19.95, for one 6 x 8 inch photo or two 4 x 6 inch photos.
Photos are available instantly, with $5 from each package going to the Animal Welfare League.
There's no need to book.
Photo frames and snow globes are also available to buy and there is a cafe in the store, where you can wait for your turn with Santa.
