Zelda Williams, the daughter of the late comedian Robin Williams, has sent a note of thanks in response to the letters sent to her in the wake of her father's death.
More than a month after she stopped using her social media accounts because of persistent bullying, Williams posted her thanks on her Twitter account.
"I just want to say thank you for all the stories and letters I've been receiving, especially from those who've also lost loved ones," she said.
"I don't come online often, but reading of others who have dealt with this loss [and] gone on to live happy, full lives is helpful. Truly."

In the wake of his death, his 25-year-old daughter was singled out on social media and targeted by so-called social media "trolls".
"I'm sorry. I should've risen above," she wrote at the time. "Deleting this from my devices for a good long time, maybe forever. Time will tell. Goodbye."
In a fuller statement she posted on her Instagram account at the time, Williams said her favourite images of her family were "framed in my house, not posted on social media, and they 'll remain there."
"They would've wound up on the news or blogs then, and they certainly would now. That's not what I want for our memories together."
During her brief return to Twitter overnight, Williams also re-tweeted an image of her father engaged in a "beard off" with a muppet sent to her by a fan.
The image was taken during filming on a 2011 episode of Sesame Street, and features Williams and a muppet known as the "Two-Headed Monster".

The "Two-Headed Monster" muppet was designed by Jim Henson and built by Caroly Wilcox; since 2001, it has been performed by Joey Mazzarino and David Rudman.
