Alf Jennings, an avid Canterbury Bulldogs supporter for more than 60 years, has no doubt the boys in white and blue will beat the Sea Eagles on Saturday.
As a dedicated club volunteer, 83-year-old Jennings has seen the highs and the lows of the Bulldogs, and says he's confident the 2014 finals season will bring another high.
"With Frank Pritchard, Trent Hodkinson and Timmy Lafai being in top form we should be able to roll the Manly Sea Eagles, without a doubt," he said.
Jennings has been volunteering at the club and been its membership officer since he met his late wife Rotha in 1948.
"When my wife was alive we went to every game no matter where it was," Jennings said. "Since then travelling on my own at my age is a little difficult.".
Jennings will be eagerly watching Saturday's semi-final, along with many other fans including Andrew Francis of Dianne's Cafe on Burwood Road in Belmore.
The cafe is part-owned by Bulldogs second-rower Frank Pritchard and is a veritable shrine to the team, with the walls draped in blue and white.
"We actually decorated before they played Melbourne," Francis said.
"Everyone was saying, what are you doing, and we said, we're supporting them! We are 100 per cent supporters."
Should the Bulldogs win in Saturday's face-off with Manly, Burwood Road will likely become a vision of blue and white for a Bulldogs final.
Bulldogs merchandise manager Jake Swarts said it's a great time for business.
"If you qualify for the grand final it starts going berserk and everyone gets fully kitted out," he said.
"We expect business to increase five, six, even 10 times as much as a standard week in a grand final week. Anything to show they're loud and proud, and all our doggies fans are loud and proud supporters."
