Six members of the Rebels outlaw motorcycle gang have been arrested and charged in relation to the kidnapping and assault of a man in Castlereagh in May.
Police said they found a man, 45, tied up inside his Castlereagh home on May 10.
It has been alleged the man was attacked by a group of men outside his property before being repeatedly assaulted, losing consciousness, inside the home.
He was treated for head, torso and limb injuries at hospital.
Detectives from Strike Force Salsola discovered four cars, a speed boat, three quad bikes and other property were also stolen.
Between August 4-7 detectives arrested six members of the Rebels outlaw motorcycle gang – including high-ranking members from the Penrith and Liverpool chapters.
The men, aged 27, 24, 30, 32 and two aged 23, were charged with special aggravated kidnapping and participate in a criminal group.
They have been denied bail in court and will reappear in Penrith Local Court on September 19.
