Police are investigating an alleged assault involving an axe and a collision between three cars in Freemans Reach last night.
Just before 7pm emergency services were called to Kurmond Road where three cars had collided and driven through a fence.
Paramedics treated the young drivers at the scene for a range of unknown injuries.
Paramedics were later alerted by police of two females who had injuries but were a short distance away from the crash.
It is alleged they were assaulted with an axe.
Paramedics treated the two women at that scene before they were transported to hospital along with the drivers of three vehicles.
It has been reported the cars had been involved in some form of altercation prior to them driving off the road.
A black sedan at the scene with P plates has been seen with damage on the bonnet from what looks to be axe strikes, according to police.
Police have established crime scenes and investigations into the incidents are underway.
