IT WAS a big week for rugby league in the Penrith area with four teams crowned champions at last week's NSWRL All Schools Carnival.

Regentville Public School won their third straight All Schools title in the under-11 competition.

After winning the under-9s and under-10s in the past two years, the school completed the treble in style defeating Manly in the final 32-0.

They qualified for the final with four wins and a draw in an undefeated campaign.

In the Opens B category, Lethbridge Park Public School didn't concede a point on their way to the title.

They defeated St Kieran's Manly Vale (20-0), Kyogle (28-0) and Colo Vale (32-0) in the round games and were too strong for Banksmeadow in the final running out winners 10-0.

St Dominic's College kept the local success going on day two of the tournament, winning consecutive titles.

In the under-13s, St Dominic's bounced back from an early loss in the tournament to win a tight final against Eagle Vale 8-2.

The under-14s replicated the success defeating Holy Cross 14-10 in the final after going through the tournament undefeated.

Whalan Reserve was the venue for most games on the three-day tournament.

The finals were played at St Marys Stadium.

The NSWRL All Schools Carnival is Australia's biggest junior rugby league carnival, with 100 primary schools and and 70 secondary schools taking part.
