Shoplifting caught on CCTV

Three women were allegedly involved in shoplifting in Myer, Castle Towers shopping centre on Monday.

Police said security guards examined CCTV footage and determined two women took perfumes and handbags without paying, at about 12.30pm.

They alleged the women exited the store to the centre’s car park by lift and left in a waiting vehicle, which was driven by another woman.

The women in the store were both described as aged between 20 and 30, one having long dark hair and wearing a grey jumper and blue jeans; the other having dark hair and wearing blue jeans and a pink hoodie.

Their getaway vehicle was described as a purple Commodore sedan.

Police are examining CCTV footage of the incident.
