Many teachers who work at a Catholic school within the Diocese of Parramatta will attend a stop work meeting on Wednesday, July 23 between 9am and 12pm.
The stop work meeting will take place as an opportunity for teachers to discuss their objections to elements of the proposed new Enterprise Agreement (EA).
A media spokesperon from the Diocese of Parramatta said they do not expect significant interruption to school attendance and supervision will be provided as necessary.
The spokesperson advises parents to phone their school directly for any updates on supervision requirements.
The following schools confirmed with the Gazette the following information on Monday morning:
Bede Polding College: supervision for students will be available
St Monica's Catholic: classes will run as normal.
Chisholm Catholic: classes will run as normal.
